thank you so much for this. I recently planted a sunflower seed just for fun to see if it would grow and it did! But i put it in a way to small pot so seeing this video i know now that it wont hurt the plant to pot the seedling. :)

Just replanted my sunflowers 🌻yesterday seedlings 🌱 are smaller though so I put two in one… in each corner.. I will let them grow for 3 weeks and will do a final transfer on my Garden Bed

i am getting ready to start a garden with my 8 year old daughter because she has been very interested in gardening. i know nothing when it comes to this. is there a reason you cant plant the sunflower straight outside in their final place? isit necessary to first plant it in a pot then later plant it into the garden?

Yes you can plant directly but there’s a good chance the seed will get eaten by something. Good luck with your garden.

I would wait until the seedling is at least 8" or when you see the roots protrude from the holes in the bottom of the pot

Hi Celia, I did a separate video of planting them out, they were about 1ft tall but it really depends on the weather. You can actually plant them out when you like or even sow your seeds directly.
