This is coming from a 1 year experience journeyman concrete carpenter. I've had my fair share in the mud too and I applaud you roding technique, thank you for not chopping the living hell out of that concrete, other companies we've worked with aren't able to pull it more than a foot of mud at a time.

Pro trick: you can watch series on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.

I use a spin screed weekly. I made the same mistake the first time also. Now i alway have the motor on the right side. Even put together tight it can spin out. Nice looking pour

Hi from rainy SW Scotland Mike, persist with your Spin Screed, it is a very use full tool, get on the website and follow the instructions, I have had one for 4 years and wouldn't be without it Like the different techniques you use, and follow this very closely Not a lot of domestic concrete paving in this country, but I have done a lot of commercial work over 50 years Kind regards David

Seems like a low stress pour. No sweat finish. They're gonna beat it up w grease and fluids anyway. Great job Dave.-- of course you guys make it look low stress. I'd be crapping bricks on a big pour like that!

Dave, Just curious about the "Screed rails"...Did you leave them in the concrete? Pardon me if this is a dumb question, just trying to learn and you put out an amazing product and are a great teacher. Keep up the good work.

Big blue is blue steel, The others are stainless steel

The chalk line would seem to negate a 'free hand' cut, however it is straight. I like the saw rig. Good work.

When you cut your control joints are you cutting through the rebar too, or do you shallow the blade to go over the rebar?

I see you have metal supports to screed from. Do you leave these in the concrete? If yes, do these act as your joints also?

the metal was intended to ride the roller screed on. The metals gets moved as as the concrete pour continues

In the striping section a week later, I see the dumpster out on the concrete. How long after the pour can you safely park a dumpster there without ruining everything? Thanks in advance and Happy Thanksgiving!
