My whole family does masonry and concrete , there isn’t much impressive stuff going on in this video, just finishers doing their job like they’re suppose to, ..it’s not a lot he just makes it seem like a lot , anybody can do it with constituency and practice , I’ve been doing this for 6 years now and know how to do every type of masonry work and concrete as well , broom finish , smooth finish, topcast, etc... point is anyone can do a good job , ... most of these finishers , like my family, have been doing this for years ! But has never had the idea of making videos,no one has actually made videos like this guy, my respects for him,cause I know he does it the right way , unlike other contractors that have no clue what they’re doing and don’t appreciate their workers work like this guy, ..... keep up the good work! ....And by the way you are ONE of the best, cause there’s ALOT of professional finishers , they’re just not on video . Believe me on that ..

I'll never forget that one, we wheeled concrete through the back yard about 50 yards, it was a lot of work. The best part of it was the guy paid us in cash, no receipt, no taxes either. I believe yeah it’s a form of cockiness but in that line of work or most fairly rough manual labor/trade skill work is quite a shark tank. You gotta be confident and know in yourself you can accomplish any job no matter the lengths. I work in hvac in the rough-in side of things and have done 2 story homes by myself in a 13-14hour shift cause I told whomever the builder was that yeah, it’s no problem cause with some contractors/builders or whoever will flake out and not hesitate to find someone else to do that job taking that money and potential client/customer away from you

Why is everyone mexican? Illegal immigrants or that is who does manual labor jobs in CA?
@xxlegolas4 жыл бұрын
@@dixynormous5901 That's a very complicated question with a lot of answers, some of which are not politically correct. To me the solution is that they all just need to be documented and fingerprinted, given a tax ID so they stop stealing one from other people. They tend to do good work as long as they have a good supervisor. As long as they are accountable to the law and working for a living I see no reason they can't stay.
@dixynormous59014 жыл бұрын
@@xxlegolas I agree with what you are saying. Productive, documented, tax-paying citizens given amnesty are better than tax-avoiding, undocumented workers. Anthony did mention in one video that finishers get about $300/day, and that many of his crew had worked union jobs, which suggests he is above board, but I'm sure there's plenty of contractors getting rich off of undocumented aliens working for cheap.
