I love your channel because I'm a 47 year old that quit skating back in 1989 because my sponsor didn't send me to Tampa Am. I've started skating again a few years ago, your videos are helpful because I don't remember how I did this shit when I was 14, I just did what I wanted to do because I was more confident back then.Your videos help me remember how I did that stuff and your videos help boost my confidence. I when from Pro at 14, to scared to stand on a board at 44, now at 47 I"m riding mega vert pools (just riding for progression). I think if I can learn these POWER SPINs 360 to perfection, that alone will make it easier to learn 360 ollies again. Thank you very much for making these videos because its significantly helps me more than other videos on youtube!

Is most of the board rotation generated by the rotation of the arms and upper body, or should the back foot, front foot or both actively contribute to the rotation of the board?
@SkateparkLessons3 жыл бұрын
Yes swing upper body for creating momentum then hop to break traction to slide around 💙🛹💙
3 жыл бұрын
@@SkateparkLessons Great! Do the legs/feet contribute to the rotation at all? Should the heel of the back foot push the tail of the board when doing a frontside spin, for example?

When you hop you use your feet to “push or pull” the board. Backside use toes to hook the tail, frontside use your foot arches to drive heels into slide 💙🛹💙
