Wow I'm glad you uploaded this. I've been looking for something like this. I appreciate that you are constantly uploading helpful content and if you could see my progress on the guitar since I started watching you channel I think you'd be proud. You are by far the best teacher on the Internet and thank you to all of the people that help out in some videos

Man thanks so much for reaching out Jake! That's so great to hear! I'll keep the vids coming so stay tuned my man!

I get it now. Every group of three notes is the triad of the chords in G major in consecutive order. Gmaj, Amin, Bmin, Cmaj, Dmaj, Emin, F# dim. So very cool!

You got it!

It has been a long time since I had the joy of something clicking in my head in guitar! 😅 This isn't something that should come as a surprise if you know how scales and triads are built but for whatever reason, I had never looked at it this way. Thank you for this video!

Thank you, I love you so much for this. I know the general theory for arpeggios, I just don't know how to apply it to music, I think this is what I needed.

Sean Can you number the arpeggio series in a sequence...1,2,3,4,5

Very nice... Justin was a little quiet on describing what he was doing, but having grasped the idea, I'm gonna incorporate this into my daily routine.
@seandaniel236 жыл бұрын
Happy to hear it!

Would be hell of a lot easier in my opinion if Justin had said at some point that each triad starts at the note next to where the preceding triad ends (or am i wrong?) !!
@seandaniel236 жыл бұрын
Yes I suppose that would've been helpful :)

Hi Sean, thanks for another great video. This kind of exercise is exactly what I'm looking for. Looking for more. BTW, what is that blue stuff attached on the guitar head?
@seandaniel236 жыл бұрын
The clip on?
@lukeli87506 жыл бұрын
Sean Daniel yes, what's that for?
@brianleechee5 жыл бұрын
@@lukeli8750 It's a clip on tuner! So unlike a normal tuner that uses a mic, you put it down in front of yourself, pluck a string, and it hears the notes...a clip on tuner, at the head of your guitar, feels the vibration of the pitch in order to tune! Extremely accurate, and awesome for noisy environments since it doesn't need to hear the sound :)

Jazzercise was a time filler on Showtime in the mid 1970s. It was really hot chicks doing exercises... I don't recall the music but the ladies were smokin' hot

You've got the Arpeggios down, can we get a lesson on Arpidgeotto's?
@seandaniel238 жыл бұрын
Is that a pokèmon?
@krzmi4 жыл бұрын
how do you go further? It's just a single position. There are so many more variants. Do you go with it for every other position and starting with a root note on other strings? That's pretty overwhelming...

so your going down the 3 nps major scale in groups of 4?
@seandaniel238 жыл бұрын
In a way yeah. But it's the way you're skipping a note everytime that makes it a chord building exercise if that makes sense :)

Which "harmonizing video" ? Why do this exercice on a shape i've never seen before and don't know how to use ? Instead of the "normal" major or minor shapes used in the other videos ?

OK.... I get it all... Except one freaking line... @5:10 it goes 4th fret of the D string, 7th fret of the D string and 5th fret of the G string. What is that shape ?! Looks like a Minor Arpeggio, but the last note should be on the 6th fret of the G string. Or am i wrong ???
@seandaniel236 жыл бұрын
That would be a diminish triad arpeggio! Its the one that goes on the 7th degree :)
@spektaloza6 жыл бұрын
Mmmm... He did not mention that. Ok so there is one 7th triad in the mix.... 4A 7A 6D would be a regular minor triad i reckon... No?
@educostanzo6 жыл бұрын
The 7th degree of any major scale will always produce a diminished triad (1 b3 b5) , not to be confused with a 7th chord.
@markorodokopljev92247 жыл бұрын
I don't get this next to the last one... It's a 4 on the 4th string, then 7 on the same string, and then there's 5 on a 3rd string, but what chord does that make?
@seandaniel237 жыл бұрын
+Stefan Gnjatić That's a diminished triad. So you could call F# diminished.
@milesparker63377 жыл бұрын
Wait, I just want to clarify one thing. Dave Brubeck is not bad Jazz. That said, I would pay to see people trying to do stair steps in 5/4 time.
