hi great video question how do you sit up during a jazz split cause i can't do it i lean back having my hand to hold me up the more i strctch my leg out the more i lean back without sitting up please help

Hi Daniel, thanks for watching. Every body is different. You probably have tight hips or hamstrings (or both). Warm-up very well and do some light stretching before trying jazz splits. That may help a bit. Your back leg needs internal hip rotation. Your front leg needs external hip rotation from a straight leg. Remember, this is KZbin, not an actual lesson. There's a lot more material a teacher can give you to help in person or over Zoom.
