Nothing is more important right now than praying the holy rosary. A Marian army is rising all across the world and it holds the banner of the Holy Face of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary and NOTHING can defeat it. No revolutionaries, no power in hell or on earth. NOTHING! The Holy Church will rise again more resplendent than ever and She will be Latin ❤❤❤

Big thanks for this series Dr Marshall. I am a catholic knight living in Malta (in the Mediterranean). This is extremely fortuitous as I have been wanting to learn the Latin Rosary for some time. Latin links us all directly to the historical culture of our beautiful faith and as you pointed out, it can't be changed, it is what it is. God bless all of you (from Malta) my brothers and sisters following along. ☩

That it s used as a greeting enlightened me, and now I understand why the St.Patricks Cathedral funeral liturgy was desecrating, same as the Pacha Mama. The reparation to the Virgin Mary must be made and the Cathedral should not be used until it is done and reconsecrated. I hope we can unite in praywr for their parishoners who were heartbroken by this disruption during Lent 2024. Here we are urged this year to make a pilgrimage and I wish busloads of the faithful could go to the Cathedral as well.

I am so thankful that I found your youtube channel. I am 60 now. Through the dark, dim recesses of distant memory, I remember my grand-mother and my mother reciting the rosary in Latin. As a child, I was looking forward learning Latin and the Latin mass, there was something so mystical and beautiful about both, and then along came Vatican II and in an act of folly our heritage, our very language that made Catholicism singularly unique and unifying, was taken away. I have always wanted to learn Latin, can you please tell me where I might go for further, in-depth instruction? I would like to develop the same kind of facility with, and depth of knowledge of, the ancient language as you possess.

Judith 13:18 “Then said Ozias unto her, O daughter, blessed art thou of the most high God above all the women upon the earth; and blessed be the Lord God, which hath created the heavens and the earth, which hath directed thee to the cutting off of the head of the chief of our enemies.”

The Japanese 'Hail Mary' pray, starts with 'Ave Maria'. I like the idea of a Latin inclusion in the liturgy, I don't like the idea of an 'unfunded mandate' where the liturgy has Latin in it, yet the parish has not seen the need to educate all in teaching Latin to its parishioners. Alot like music ministers introducing new songs of worship in the liturgy, yet choosing not to let the parishioners practice or introduce those new songs to the congregation before the mass, and they, the parish liturgical leaders do not even see the need to do so.

The state of the U.S. and of the world itself is so precarious that it is virtually impossible to make any reasonable prediction as to what the future may hold for mankind in its present state as we try to make our way, "mourning and weeping through this valley of tears." And of course there is no one who is is foolish or vain enough to predict the Will of Divine Providence. If the world should descend into another Tower of Babel (and history has shown that anything is possible, no matter how unlikely) the Faithful would be able to communicate with each other by speaking Latin. I studied Latin for 3 years in a religious Prep High School, and it's not really all that hard to learn. Those who saw the excellent movie "The Two Popes" know that when Cardinal Bergoglio arrived at the Vatican to vote for the election of a new pope he was greeted by Pope Benedict and at first, the two prelates spoke to each other in Latin. Those who speak one of the so-called Romance Languages which have Latin as their basis (Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese) or Romanian already have a head start in learning Latin. Just a thought. It certainly couldn't hurt. For us older folks, learning a new language also helps to keep the mind shsrp..It would also be nice to be able to read the works of Cicero, Marcus Aurelius et al, in the language in which they were written, as well as the work of others from a later time (mostly academics, monks and priests) who wrioe in Latin. It was said that Dr. Johnson, who was surely one of the smartest and best educared people who ever lived, could think in Latin, which many linguists believe is the true test of whether someone really undertands a language. It would probably even be fun rather than a chore to study together with friends or to form a study group with some fellow parishioners. Why not think it over?

The Hail Mary prayer is a series of biblical quotes and references, so surely if you’ve read your Bible as a Christian you’d know that the Hail Mary is perfectly fine! “Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with you” from Luke 1:28 “Blessed art thou among women, blessed is the fruit of your womb” Luke 1:41-1:42, 1:48 “Holy Mary Mother of God” Luke 1:43 “Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death” Luke 2:35
