How to Pray the Scriptures For Your Children - Jodie Berndt

Author Jodie Berndt explains how to pray the Scriptures for your children. Jodie says that with the anxieties many are facing over COVID, politics, and racial unrest that this is a great time to learn now to pray the scriptures, especially over your kids who may be feeling the same emotions.
With your children involved in activities, going to school or hanging out with their friends, it's hard to know exactly where they are sometimes or who they are with. Instead of only praying for their health and safety, Jodie suggests also praying Psalm 121:8 over them, and asking the Lord to "watch over their coming and going now and forevermore."

When my son was a teenager, I used to play a proverb a day on utube in the morning before school. It was really to help me as a single mum, and he was picking up on them. Even though I thought he wasn't listening, he would be quick to remind me of them. When I fell short 😂 31 proverbs, one for each day of the month ❤Amen to your prayers .

Curious what your opinion is on a new study from Harvard showing that children who are spanked but not abused show the same heightened reactions in several regions of the brain in response to fearful faces than children who were never spanked or abused. This is providing evidence that how a child's brain responds to mild spanking is still that it is violence and harmful to healthy brain development.
