I been telling people this for awhile. The rise and fall of empires is just one aspect of a bigger macrocosm principle. The law of rhythm rules over the universe, all things rise and fall. It's just small cycles within bigger cycles. Hence why it's called the universe meaning one turn. The universe is the prominent cycle of all cycles.

Just because the political entity formed in 1776 doesn’t mean it’s been a global hegemony since then. If anything the 250 year countdown should start from 1945 as a post ww2 american order
