Split pea and ham soup! Amazing isn't it! Like the most perfect winter food 😉Brioche or french bread, yummy! When you first said 1 ft of snow I was like EH!?? 🤭 BUT I forgot about the winds and drifts you get and that alone can turn some spots into 3 ft! 🤔Arrow was so adorable helping you with the firewood but he could be just a bit more efficient at it 🤣 Your goats probably just look forward to heavy snow days! Thank you so much! Yea we have about 3-4 ft drifts currently so glad we got everything set when we did! I think you’re right Arrow is going to have to find a better more efficient method 😂

Goats are messy eaters lol I see a lot of people swear by IBC tote hay feeders for goats bc you can make a tray from the plastic… never tried myself. I would be afraid they’d climb on it somehow and get stuck. Definitely looks like you’re hunkered down and ready for the storm. You fill your tub with water? It’s nice to have it if you’re on a well and lose power for a couple days. Stay safe

They really are messy eaters… no one has taught them not to play with their food 😂 we actually don’t lose water when we lose power so luckily it isn’t anything we have to worry about!

Becaus ehoats fight and establish dominance with their horns you never want them to feel like you are challenging them and talking to them the way goats talk to each other so if you stay away from their horns entirely you really don’t have any issues of goats trying to use their horns on you. We do have our Christmas tree all up! 😊
