Hi sir I prepared 1M EDTA many times but it takes more time to dissolve some times I added more naoh pellets it results to ph increase like 8.9 in our lab they won't allow us to add HCl to reduce the pH for EDTA .so give me some idea to dissolve it faster at the same time oh should be in proper 8 or 8.2

Use EDTA-disodium salt dihydrate. The more H2O it contains the faster the solubility. You may use acetic acid (weak acid) instead of HCl
