The power of storytelling is key! When the recruiter asked me about the best deal I ever closed, I started off with "You won't believe what happened!" and sharing the story as if he was a close friend. The recruiter ended the interview with "It would be foolish of me not invite you to the next stage of the interview process". Make it easy for them to say YES!

As a Sales Recruiter, the STAR method really helps with preparing for Competency Based Questions. STAR stands for: S ituation that you were in T ask assigned to you / Problem you’re facing A ctions taken that time R esults from Actions taken.
