Wash the rice:
You can wash the rice in a bowl or in a suitable basin.
Rinse the rice in cold water, rubbing it at the bottom of the container.
Do not rub too hard at the risk of breaking the grains of rice.
Empty the white water then repeat the operation until you have clear water.
You can leave the rice in the water for 30 minutes to obtain a softer consistency after cooking.
Cooking rice in the pressure cooker:
Drain the water from the rice first.
Pour the rice into the pressure cooker bowl.
Fill with water up to the number adapted to the number of go you used (also be careful to follow the correct graduation according to the type of rice used).
Plug in the pressure cooker. Choose the cooking program for rice
Choose the type of rice grain (short for Japonica rice) then start cooking (it lasts about 30 min depending on your rice cooker)
pan cooking:
for 2 gô of rice = 450ml of water
Close the saucepan with a lid and bring the water to a boil over medium heat.
Once brought to a boil, wait two minutes.
Lower the heat then wait 3 minutes.
Then turn the heat down to low and leave for 5 to 7 minutes.
If there are still water bubbles in the rice, wait another 1-2 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let stand for 10 minutes.
Once the rice is cooked, stir the rice to prevent it from sticking.
