How to preserve photos | Removing photos from sticky albums

How stuck are your photos? time to set them free! What other tips do you have?

what type of photo albums for you recommend? I don't mind the photo albums with sleeves but I have some photos in various sizes and some large class photos of my daughter 8x10 that I would like to but in albums too in addition to a frame on the wall.

It depends on where in the world you are, but if you are going to put photos in albums I would go with the sleeves so you can easily remove them, but keep an eye out for plastics made from Polyester, Polyethylene or Polypropylene and that have passed the Photographic Activity Test (PAT), which is a measure of their archival qualities. 😁

You did not say a word about how to present them sticking again once they are free.

It really does depend on how 'sticky' they are, some of the sticky can be taken off with a gentle run with a cloth on the back and it comes off, but be gentle. The full proof way is to take giant sticky labels and put them on the back. That is what I do. You can buy big A4 sheets of white labels and cut them down to size. Hope that answers your question 😀
