What phetola did is exactly what I am going through, I've put my interest aside to focus on my hubby's career . Unfortunately on my side hubby does not support my dreams as much as I do with his. I'm actually drained at this stage. In 2021 im doing me, I've already lost soooo much. Thank you again for good content

Two things that stood out for me 1. Very important that I do me. Failure to do so breeds a lot of bitterness when our partners choose themselves and their dreams without thinking twice. As women, we are never ready to have ideas of our identities that are singular i.e., not tied to the people we love. And then we get the shock of our lives when men do. On loudspeaker: Ladies, men are not our projects to manage. Let’s love our partners, know the limits, and please let them be. 2. As men and women, we are socially not ready for women who earn more than men. As women we have beautiful conversations about not being in relationships for money. But we forget that it does something to our partners to be (un)able to provide. There is a lot of tension that grows because someone feels less than. Ideas around provision (I think) are bigger and deeper than our lovely kumbaya conversations Thanks to the two of you for being so honest and vulnerable. We don’t take it for granted. More blessings

One thing about your husband, he didn't pretend to be what he is not, he doesn't pretend that I'll go overseas with you when he knows he won't. I love this honesty and I just learnt actually how women are willing to take whatever risk as long as "I'm with you" and men are the exact opposite. Until a min ago when I had this revelation I used to think that maybe a man doesn't care so much, but i realise that I don't have to provide but he does, and if he follows me and I "make it" and ge doesn't it's a bigger issue than when the roles are reversed. It's one thing to support a temporary situation but some temporary situations last longer than others. Now imagine 10 years of me as a woman having uprooted my family nna ke gola while nothing happens for my husband, that's honestly more than a bruise in ego because one thing about women PHETO we are not humble 😂😂😂our Humility is very unstable and one thing about men they thrive of being needed, and it's not an ego thing, but a creation thing. How we behave has a lot to do with the order and purpose for which men and women were created...

Being single, being whole, being distinct, unique living in your fullness. Thank you Makhs family for over emphasing the singleness. More often than not we mistakenly think singleness has to do with being alone. While one must be single in his/her marriage. Otherwise an individual that's not single in a marriage needs to be validated now and again needs to be baby-seated yhuuwi

Very educative installment as usual. I also love to just withdraw to my space and rejuvenate, my partner use to think he offended me but I had to explain that’s it’s my way of recharging and will come back better😀😀. Also, when you said you know each other’s strength and can compliment each other, I remembered what The Makhs Senior said “If you are the same then one person is unnecessary”. Thank you for the authenticity always. With love from your Nigerian subscriber.
