Can you use any kind of primer to press pigment ?
@thelazymakeupgirl47468 жыл бұрын
+Jessica Gonzalez I imagine you can ... it just needs some sort of binding agent

These look really great, does anyone know if they can be used as artist colors? There's a product called pan pastels that are quite expensive, I'd love to make these in place of pan pastels. Although I'm not sure some colors I need would be available, like red. Any thoughts🤔

Hey! Just me again, haha. Do you think that this makes your pigments last longer or does it just make them easier to work with?
@thelazymakeupgirl47469 жыл бұрын
Hey :) !!! I don't know for sure ... But I definitely like them better this way & they are a touch deeper the colours I think, because of the primer added when I pressed them . xo

Hi, awesome tutorial! Maybe not rocket science but now I can afford Makep Geek eye shadows cuz I'm getting the loose pigments way less expensive! My only question is about the primer. Where did you get yours, does it matter what kind and do they sell it locally!

Alisha Cassidy Hey Alisha ... I use the Younique Primer ... but I'm sure you could use any kind :) I have a Younique Makeup Store at www.thelazymakeupgirl.com xoxox

iv been trying to press pigments for a few days now but they've been becoming powder again after iv pressed them, does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to prevent this? would appreciate a helpful reply
@thelazymakeupgirl47468 жыл бұрын
+Sidrah Hussain are you using a primer or some sort of facial oil? You need some sort of binding product so that it doesn't stay like powder :) Hope this helps!

hi, i want to try that with my pigments from younique also, but wanted to ask if they lasted, or how did you feel them after? the pigment was the same, etc etc

Corinne Carroll any time of primer works.

Or you can just but glycerin(silicone-main ingredient in most primers) at drug store for a few dollars. Just search on KZbin how to make Mac mixing medium which is a eyeshadow primer/adhesive that many MUA have used for years to help pigments be brighter on the eyelid, last longer, and it's amazing at preventing creasing on hooded lids.
