Franchisees is where it’s at, it’s the corporate you want to stay away from, you can lock up a 20 store franchise aka “independent owner or investors in the franchise” before you can unlock the corporate. But I will say if you can find the director of operations for the corporate office your golden and can be a vendor on their vendors list! I’m currently in 7 states with over 400 locations in my field of business (no longer do windows anymore too many guys coming in saturating the market for pennies) but franchisees are the reason I’m where I am today being a small business with a revenue of 500k a year. Not big but very comfortable

hey man! love the videos, I was curious do you fill your buckets up with water inside the stores, or do you bring the buckets already full?
@joshuaharris83494 жыл бұрын
You could bring like a gallon of water and fill it up
@thetoking_61283 жыл бұрын
It’s best to have a window cleaning bucket with solution already in it. In our company we have 2 5 gallon water containers filled with fresh water to exchange the nasty water throughout the day. You can use the water faucets outside but most need a water key if near a business. I would suggest to never fill up inside of a clients store or home to prevent 1: looking unprofessional and 2: to not cause any accidents inside of the building bc that’s a liability

Did you start your landscaping business or doing business with customers before you secured a business license? Reason i ask is because i get a lot of BS from associates about having one before i start to go do to door with business cards and flyers. Need help what should be my first step? I've been turning in to your channel hoping you one day answer the question in one of your knowledgeable videos.
@gregaaron57287 жыл бұрын
Go to your local city hall and ask what is needed to go to residential and shops,In my town they charge a small fee if you are going door to door residential but not shops since they are open to public,most owners will never ask for insurance for window cleaning unless it's two stories

Been cleaning windows for over 15 years now, I'm not getting rich yet. I've tried getting business in those strip malls. Stopped in one gave an estimate to nearly all the stores in there. Thought I was low balling offering to do jobs that should get $40 to $45 per cleaning, by offering to do them for $25 or $30, only to have the owner/manager tell me they had a guy that does them for $10. ?!????!

wouldn't most janitors/cleaning crew do the windows? I imagine most of these places use a cleaning service, it seems like that would be included and they wouldn't have to have a guy strictly for windows. Also do a lot of these places ask if your insured and when you weren't, how did you get around that? Any info would be great.

You are the type of window cleaner I do not respect. I do not like your advice here, in this aggressive soliciting. You should respect another fellow window cleaner , if he already has the client. Maybe the client can only budget for a once a month clean, and it’s been 29 days and, yes the windows might be dirty, but your fellow window cleaner will be coming tomorrow to clean the job and pay HIS bills and feed HIS family. AGAIN, You are the type of window cleaner I do not respect. I’ve been in business 45 years and I do not take business from my colleagues. Maybe they are sick, or experiencing difficulties. I would call him myself and ask him if he needs help, then I would do the job for him and help him during his difficulties, if that’s the case. However, if he is just an irresponsible “bucket Bob” , then that’s a different story. Then I would offer my services.
