Garden Services are true professionals. They always exceed my expectations. They have been cutting my property for the last 2 years and I have no complaints. The owners actually care about the service they provide. My grass and trees looks great and I recently had an issue with my irrigation system and they were able to fix my issue immediately and for a reasonable price. Hello, @LawnCareMillionaire Thanks for the video. It is very helpful. I have one question though. In your example you chose to use $40 a man hour and I know that number is just for the example and varies by location. Now let say I use $40 a man hour as the example. Does that amount includes the profit margin as well or is just the cost? Hopefully you understand what I am trying to ask. Thanks in advance

The $40 can be either base rate, and even profitability rate. It's always about rates vs actual time performing the service. The faster the service is performed, the more profitable the base rate is.

I would not do Sq. Ft. pricing, I would do metric so that I can keep it counting by tens but I would not tell the people I am doing that down to the CM rounding up slightly, so you have a 0 at the end, you would need to measure the equipment.

in calculating my man per hour, you mention adding in what profit i want to earn. how much profit should I earn when doing residential mowing? also, starting solo or with a two man crew, should i start figuring and estimating all my costs (office/yard, staff, fuel, equipment....) that I want to have in the future and figure my man per hour or just what my costs are at the time when I start?

I'm not sure how to figure out the man hour profit. In the video it says that if we charged 30 with a 3 man crew, then the profit is 30 man hour. How is that figured?

Bear this in mind, 60 minutes make a hours, three men take twenty minutes to cut a lawn at $30 per cut think about it one person could do the same job in one hour time
