Is you check engine light on, Demetrius? That will make your remote start not function.

Off hand, no. The relearn mode on your display is key to this relearn. Any info in your owners manual? You did it with the key all the way to on, (not run).

It worked on the new remote but the old one would not work. If you have two remotes do you have to do both at the same time in the car?

I would think you do it all over again by starting at the beginning. It should remember the first one. Did the old one work before? If the old one did work, and trying to do them separately does not work, maybe do them one at a time during the same session. Let us know if it works.

@@ncgiants2125 Many manufacturers seem to have changed stuff around 2012. On the Dodge products you need a dealer level scan tool and have to request a code from Dodge.

Yes. You have to do one, then the next one right away. Do not exit the programming until both are done.

If you have the information center and can scroll to the menu that says “press to relearn remote key”. If you can’t get to that, don’t bother ordering the key fob. You will have to get a shop to do it with their equipment.

Sorry Mike. I do not know. If you have the same dash menu and you can get into the programming, then I would say yes. You can alway back out of the programming if you are just exploring to see if it is doable.

Has the range got poorer or you just need more range? If just need more range, this will sound dumb, but try holding remote under your chin touching it to chin as you press the button. (There is a science based reason)

@@angielipski9884 hey Angie, some say that can work. I have had remote starts that the range got worse over time. Replaced the electronics at the vehicle and that solved it. Factory units have a hidden antenna somewhere. That could be the problem too. Bakkstreet D4 has some digging to do!
