Hi, thanks for the video. I have a couple questions. Do you simply set the time of day and chose the number of liters on the right hand dial before regeneration, and the system automatically takes care of the rest? As in backwashing, rebrining, flushing etc? If you turn the dial on from in service to the right, there's a number of other options you can choose.

Hi. My softener has no white dot. On this model in video where is the white dot in relation to the cut out part of the inner wheel(the part of it that has 5 or so teeth missing) . Say if the cut out is at 12 o clock. Thanks.

Please confirm. The time of day setting has nothing to do with when the machine goes into a regeneration cycle. Correct? If so, what is the purpose of TOD setting? Also, on my unit, the white dot was at position "1 o'clock" as if the dial were a clock. Does that move, as it differs from your video?

Ok really. How much water is in the test bottle? What are the tablets called, how many mg per tablet, and where do you get them? If this video is aimed toward “Softenergeeks” brand, why is that not in the title? You said to set the capacity to 18 units; the units are Gallons? Liters? Space monkeys? Does the big knob have to be set so that the opening (the part that reveals the word underneath) is at 9 o’clock and so that the words “in serv.” appear? I know you’re trying to help, but you have to be able to imagine your viewer having zero knowledge. When you don’t make it clear, it wastes people’s time and is much worse than not posting a video at all.

Hi sometimes the paint can come off. Take a close look and you may see a mark where the dot should be.
