How to program ATA PTX 4 remotes into your ATA GD04 Roller door motor

Do you have a clip about setting the roller door motor not remote? I had an 18hr power outage and when the power came back I had to reprogram the remote as you explain here BUT the auto open/close no longer works. I must press and hold the up or down key to function the door. How do I reset the door open/close limits so the auto option works again? Thanks.

Thanks for your upload very helpful. Can you buy remotes for that model opener, I have just moved and the past owner didnt leave any remotes and if so do you sell them? Thanks again

Thankyou, I will try this later today. I found 3 days ago I went to the shed and it was making beeping sound. Thought that was odd and tried to use the remote. Seamed everything I did I simply could not get the door to work again. not by remote OR pressing the main buttons. Left it without power the last 2 days and tried again this morning and now the door opens and closes by the main buttons but not the remote. So from watching this I will try again later today. Any reason why the roller door for no reason started beeping and was not usable? Cheers.

Hi my friend has a firmadoor gdo-4 I got a 433 MHz remote but it wont work. I believe it must be working on the old 27mhz frequency. Should I upgrade or do you know where I can get older remotes am I rite thinking 27mhz ? Thanks Dave

Can not believe we found this on you tube. Perfect thanks our remote stopped working but OMG it was a flat battery much to my husbands dismay...he wanted it to be a little more complicated. This helped heaps thanks :0)

Hi there..my system just reset itself for some reason and the auto door open and close doesnt work. however on the remote i can manually open with the door by holding the top left button, then manually close the door with the bottom left button. very odd. is there away to fix this so that the door can open automatically again..thanks help. my mate has a merlin garage door, i have this one in the video, but his has and external button to open the door, I have to either use the remote or take of the light cover to open the door. has anyone got a hack for a fixed external button?
