Is it possible to program an older 811LM remote (10/12), to work on a newer opener? My new opener came with a 893LM (4/19), but I wouldn't mind having my old remote as a spare!

so i watched the previous vidoe on wiping the previous code, then this will automatically program a new code so that if someone had a duplicate opener that you no longer trust, this process would install a new code and their opener wouldn't work?

Hi Todd, what do you think happened, I just installed an 828LM Gateway and learned it in to my overhead garage. but after this, apparently if i close using the manual garage door opener/closer,, after a few minutes it opens by itself. but if i use the app, so far it stays closed. what do you think happened?

The garage door clickers programmed for me after I connected to myQ. Had to clear all my memory after door was opening up randomly

my liftmaster garage door opener inside is a doorbell switch, not the one you can push hold to lock it. How do I control it?

The motor unit also has a learn button that can be used to re-program your remotes.

bullshit, that doesn't work. I would guess the learn is on the motor somewhere. I've never seen a "learn" on a remote opener. Hope you see this comment.

Make sure the remote you're trying to pair is compatible, otherwise try the learn button on the opener itself. For this model shown in the video it should be a yellow learn button.
