in my windows os I installed scratch but when i am trying to add HTTP extension, i am not able to find that option when i press shift and open the file button. Did anything change in the scratch software please kindly help me out

Great video thank you Aerial Guide! So detailed and professional- it allowed me to get my Tello EDU flying with the lap-top. I have noticed on my first few flights that the drone did not respond to all commands though even flying close by indoors though. Next step is to try and get a pre-programmed sequence of movements performed.

Were you able to figure out why your drone didn't respond to all commands? Remember that if you press two buttons and the same time, only the first registers. Hey man, looks awesome! Do you recommend it for programming drones? It would be my first drone also, then I would buy a spark, but the thing is that I don't want them for "entertainment" I want them for programming with c++, java, or python, even Ros or Gazebo later on... do you think is worth it to buy the Tello for this purposes or should I wait and go straight forward to the spark? Keep in mind that I'm a student from Mexico and you know the dolar nowadays costs 20 times more than a MXN peso.

wes bos has a tello tutorial about controlling the tello with react (js)! It's pretty cool and worth checking out - I'd definitely recommend the tello, I'm not familiar with anyway to program the Spark. Or at least it's not as easy as the Tello

Thanks for your video. After typing node Tello.js I get the following error: DeprecationWarning: Buffer() is deprecated due to security and usability issues. please use the buffer alloc(), Buffer.allocsafe(), or Buffer.from() methods instead. I can send what I like but it won't work.

Youre welcome! What directory are you in when you type `node Tello.js` ? Are you in the directory where `Tello.js` is located? What version of node are you running? In the terminal, type `node -v`

Hey there Kempers - just replying here to keep this in the same thread. I'm not on a windows machine, I've re-ran this on my machine and it ran properly. I'm not familiar with the buffer.alloc(), etc - A comment below said this is the same process on a windows machine. Maybe try going to the Ryze site and downloading the latest version of the Tello file? When I get an error in the terminal (or anywhere) stack overflow is my best friend

For this, you need to download scratch to your computer and use node to send the commands to the Tello

Can you do any of work on an iPad or iPhone? Seems kinda clunky to have my laptop with me in order to fly it?

You can use the Tello app and control it from the app, or even better use the Tello app with a bluetooth controller and fly it that way. But programming it requires a node server and using a laptop.
