Good day, i have a mustang 2012 5.0 Boss superchager also having abs unit fault same as your F150, we installed used abs unit. we also have paid forscan subscirption, but upon running the ABS as built format, theres no data apearing to be saved. and tried to press Load factory as build, did DL anything. it only say Operation succesful. also there's no ABS configutation options on our part, compairing on yours what do you think is the problem TY

yea just install the used one and do a as built restore with forscan and it should work

Bro i need your help, im currently working on my truck. They said they gave me 2 months extended trial version. Is it different from the 1 year subscription version? Cause both are extended version as it says. Trying to figure out why am i missing the vin showing function. Plus at the beginning its saying, the adapter is not recommended for this car some functions may not be available, so im trying to figure out if its from the license or from the obd adapter. Which conector are you using, maybe it appear the extra conection because you have the VCI or ids

i use an Autel j2534 interface but you can get the cable cheap on amazon or going to the official Forscan website

So, I have a 2010 ford f150. Replaced the ABS module and pump. I downloaded the as built data, and made sure I saved a file. I, for the life of me, can not do the ABS module configuration. Could it have been the cheaper adapter I was using? I was using the elm connector.

You have to buy the 1yr sub to mod the files

I had the same problem, when I went to ABS configuration, there was no option to edit the VIN. But if you have the original ABS module of the car, you can connect that one and download "as built" data, and then connect the replacement ABS module, and load the "As built" data into the new ABS module and it will work.

​@@mahmoudajjour1370I figured out that the part he got was incorrect. It was for a 2wd truck. His is 4wd. Which is why it wouldn't work.

I am trying to do this on a 2013 F150. We have put in a used ABS module, and I have managed to follow you video until the "configure module" part and I don't get the window to change the VIN number all I get is one line that the hill start assist is enabled. Any ideas? Thanks Joe

No scanner will ever do this only a laptop with forscan which is only 12 dollars or the oem dealer software IDS or FJDS
