How to program Vance & Hines Fuelpak

I did this on my stock 2015 sportster.Just loaded the stock map from V&H. Great Boost and easy install...Highly reccomended

I bought a Vance and Hines Drak VO2 Air Intake, a V&H Fuel Pak and a V&H 2 into 1 Pro Pipe exhaust. I installed these and some other items the last weekend in Feb. 2015. When I cranked my 2009 Dyna Super Glide up, I was amazed at the instant start, smooth operation and tremendous power boost. I figure I gained a 12-15% increase in horsepower from the V&H products alone and the programming and installation for the Fuel Pak itself was straightforward. I would recommend these V&H products the best way I know how - I bought them, installed them and they REALLY work.

Put one on my 09 when I bought it new. Put on new pipes and a SE air cleaner. I only have 10k miles on it now. I just installed new 551 S&S cams. While researching what I wanted/needed to do the job, I found out that the Fuelpak does not work with my application. Wanting to stay with V&H, I asked them which turner I should use with my application. They recommend the FP3. However, they discontinued it. How does a company recommend a product they no long make? I was told the FP4 will not work. So, I ordered a Power Commander. Should be getting it today.

I have a question please.. I just picked up a 2007 FXDB Street Bob It has the FUELPAK classic on it. The one that you need to program the values in with the buttons on the Fuelpak itself. The guy I bought it from said the bike had been sitting for 2 years with a dead battery.. I am wondering if I need to re program the FUELPAK? Has there been any updates to the map settings over the years? It does run pretty goo but the idle seems a bit high. My current setup is* Vance and Hines Straightshots slip ons Standard baffle Stage 1 screaming Eagle air cleaner assembly with a k&N filter (which says Kuyurukan on it? Maybe its a Kuyurukan stage 1 filter housing. I am not sure. And I have the stock air filter cover on it. Engine internals are stock. Thank you in advance.

I’ve been running the short shots no baffles map and I’m switching to baffles back in. There’s modes that have a value that now say N/a with the new map. Would I use 0 for N/A in that case?

My Vance & Hines Fuelpak Throttlepak works great, I've got the Drak VO2 air filter and Power Duals oval full header system, W/Std Baffles. I'm get 52 MPG and my 2009 HD Ultra Custom just runs so Sweet, and sounds great. You need in my oppion shut you mouth Justyn!

18 Value Settings after you get by installing the Fulepak, I don't know if my back can stand over it that long. If I can it will be worth it, I HOPE ! ! !

Ok so here is my Q!!. I currently have this Fuelpak in the video... however I just bought and have the FP3 which i want to swap out to. If I remove this current pak, and just plug the ECM back in, will it restore to the factory MAP??

The fuelpak led display comes on as soon as I start it but goes away after a second and won't respond to any buttons being pushed.

Adam, no i did not. Still pops on decel. An after every time i start it it will stutter on acceleration once. Hard to explain but the first time u get on it after starting it whether its five minutes in or just after u take off. It cuts out for a brief second. You may have better luck but do your research first.

i have a 2014 raptor 700r with a K&N pro flow air filter and monster dual exhausts since my raptor is fuel injected do i still need to buy a fuel module ? or will the fuel injection add fuel when needed ? thank you

Yes. You need fuel management system.

do not buy fuelpack. I know its a bit cheaper and looks like and easy plug and play feature, but by far the worst product on the market. of everyone I have talked to that owned one id say 7 out of ten have moved on to other products. I have had problems with mine from day one with a stutter in the fuel delivery and a ton of decal popping the first five minutes after startup. fuelpack customer service was no help at all and simply just gave me another map and said "well this should work". this went on for weeks. not to mention their codes are a huge secret as to what they are. not sure why anyone would try and replicate their product anyways. STAY CLEAR OR ATLEAST DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THIS PRODUCT. this product is so terrible people have posted videos of themselves running it over in their cars, wish I thought of that.

Sounds like you need to fix your bike unless you have a shop do it for you but it's not the fuelpak if it happens when you have it unplugged also soo dont blame them for your problems just because you dont know what's wrong

I still have this item on my bike with 0 problems ever. It helped the 1450 tremendously. I am sure there has been intermittent issues Some from FP And with end user.
