Is the /ei/ sound its own single entity. Because when I produce it, it sounds more like /je/+/i/. The /i/ sound really stands out.

It’s should be one sound. No break between the vowels at all.

Hi ma'am, i check pronunciation on cambridge dictionary (american accent) and i noticed that the vowel sound ɑː as in words Boss /bɑːs/ Honest /hɑːnɪst/ on /ɑːn/ is not like i hear because when i check the sound it comes to my ears the /ɔ/ sound as in Law, saw (stressed syllable) on (unstressed syllable) similar to core /cɔ:r/ with reducing o. here my question; is /ɔ/ the best and the real sound for such words? Note, I'm foreign american english learner (i have no problem with sounds just the exceptions and irregular cases confusing me in english).

Hello! I am a native English Speaker and the difference between /ɔ/ /ɑː/ is "blurry" for me too. These sounds are so similar and I can hear the difference in some words but not others. I also lived in the middle of the US for many years and there is a merger of these sounds so they are pronounced the same way. My suggestion is to go for an OPEN oh sound. I am a proponent of clarity so you can communicate freely not perfection. Good luck and all the best!

I have a small doubt. Most of the milk has gone. Or Most of the milk is gone. Eventhough this second sentence does make sense, do you think it makes common sense? I would choose the first one. Would have to. Because the second sentence implies it's always true, so it never makes sense.does it? Am i right?

Most of the milk is gone is more commonly used and is correct.
