I recently bought a double stuffed Brugmansia, after moving and leaving my last one behind. I had no idea it was so easy to propogate. Had i known, I would've taken a cutting from my old one. The one I bought is a very small stem, but I'm already planning on propogating more from it once it matures. Thank you for posting this very informative video!

Thank you for this video. I gave my mother my peach angel's trumpet 3 years ago and I really miss growing it. I am currently visiting her and wanted to take a piece home to Texas to try and grow. Your video is very informational. Thanks again.

Thanks for the video. I am selling my home and I have a yellow trumpet plant that my grandmother (who passed away in March) gave me and was planted in my yard. I have been very upset because it is very big and I have no choice, but to leave it behind, but it has great sentimental value to me. I don't know much about gardening, but I follow a house plant group on Facebook and they have been talking about propagating plants, so that gave me the idea that maybe I can propagate a cutting from my grandmother's angel trumpet and take it to my new home. This has been very informative. I hope mine works 🤞🏾

Sorry about your grandfather. Definitely try propagation through cuttings. Take several cuttings so that chances improve

I have several of these plants in containers in coastal SC. Leaf eating bugs and spider mites seem to love my plants resulting in curled, stippled leaves and other damage. Any tips? Thanks!!

You can try spraying diluted neem oil - one liter water, one tsp castille soap and 1 tsp neem oil, mixed together. Will need to spray multiple times at the interval of 3 to 4 days.

I did not but mine was not that bushy. You can snip the bottom branches and it will grow taller

If you live in zones 8-11 you can possibly leave it in the ground if you own the property 😉 if you don't you have to keep changing pots or if you live in zones 1-7

Check your local nursery. Also check the plants in your neighborhood. Sometimes you can get a cutting with the permission of a neighbor

Since angel trumpet is poisonous, can it be planted around fruit trees? Will bees bring toxic from these angel trumpet flowers to Fruits and vegetables when they pollinate? Thank you!

I've heard that they like to be root bound a little if you have a lot of them why not to test that theory on one plant just to see if that is true. I grow my angels trumpet in pots(because I live in a cold area) and I wait till they are very root bound and haven't killed one yet ........great videos thanks.

Yes, I went on holiday to West Sussex and saw one in a pot. I got a cutting & am wintering it on my window sill. I will pot it & put it out in the summer. I think you can plant them in the ground but you have to pot and bring them in in Autumn for the winter time. Good luck.

People should know that this vine is VERY invasive and hard to control, once it is established. I have a girlfriend who lives in Kansas. This vine grows all over, even climbing to be he top of telephone poles. So it is advisable to keep it contained in a container.
