If you will place a cotton material under the moss they will grow better and moisture level will be much better on the base. Love your content

That’s a good idea! Might have to give it a try 🤔. Thanks for watching :)

Hey man! I actually started an anubias farm in a drawer inspired by this, I use a plastic wrap lid and a full spectrum bulb in a desk lamp, and today I just sold my first anubias coffefolia! Thank you so much for your help!

I did the same thing with the Christmas tree moss. I pull the new growth apart and spread each of the bunches until it covers the whole bottom.

I wonder if you could do this with rigid plastic mesh sheets if it worked it would probably eliminate the need for the second tub and it would be another method for making a Java moss wall or you could cut it into sections and sell it still attached to the plastic just an idea awesome video might have to give it a try myself keep it up 👍

Incredible results on java growth. Please keep us updated weekly. Intrigued how it will turn out. Keep up the great work. 👍👍👍👍 Sir i don't have access to your specific fertilizer can you recommend a substitute? Will a balanced NPK like 15 15 15 or 20 20 20 be substituted?
@AquariumPlantLab3 жыл бұрын
More videos in the works 😉, its hard to recommend a fertilizer without trying it first, however, I would bet that most fertilizers will work. I haven't had one that doesn't work yet, some just produce more growth than others.

What lamp do you recommend? I would like to start ASAP! TIA!
@AquariumPlantLab3 жыл бұрын
I always recommend LED. Java Moss isn't too picky though. Any light that can grow plants should work just fine for you!

@@AquariumPlantLab amazing stuff man! am replicating this in Jordan, how can I buy plants from you?
@AquariumPlantLab3 жыл бұрын
Awesome! I love hearing where people are from :)! Well unfortunately I can’t ship outside the US just because of cost and customs, so you will need to find some plants local. But I appreciate the thought!

@@AquariumPlantLab I have a friend in the states, she is coming back to Jordan in 2 weeks exactly, can we ship it for her, and she will get it to Jordan?
@AquariumPlantLab3 жыл бұрын
I am actually out of town til the 19th. If an order was placed on the 20th I could ship same day (priority mail). Not sure if that would work though given she will be back in 2 weeks but that would be the best I could do. With time in transport you would probably want to stick to rhizome plants (Java fern or Anubias). Stems probably wouldn’t survive being in a box that long.

Can I use the method you are using to propagate moss for growing subwassertang????
@AquariumPlantLab3 жыл бұрын
Ive never tried it with Subwassertang so I can't say for sure, however, I bet it would work :)

@@AquariumPlantLab if I keep it in a small amount of water with fertilizer and light, will that do?
