Yeah. I didn't even buy mine tho. I rescued it from one of those sick people. I found him when he was a baby, and a couple of kids were trying to step on him. Brought him home and he's been mine ever since :) I could tell he was abandoned beacuse of his bread. We didn't have any wild rabbits like him were i'm from :)

Thank you for the video's! Last year we found a baby Dutch rabbit hiding at our front door. We took her in, posted found posters and no one to claim her. I have never dreamed of owning a rabbit. Let alone how to take care of one. I had her for two weeks and fell in love. I'm a dog person, so your videos helped me bunny proof my home, potty train her quickly, and take care of her properly. Now I'm visiting because out of no where shes shedding so much!!? I never knew you had to even groom them. She actually coughed up a fur which freaked me out. Now I know I need a bunny brush so now I'm adding brushing to our daily life. Thank you so much!

Yesterday, I noticed that my rabbits fur was laying differently. OMFG, he's molting! Molting bad! I ordered a hairbuster yesterday and it should arrive tomorrow. Today I brushed him out with a normal bristle comb. Glad you posted this very timely video. So much fur!!!!

I have said it before and i will continue to sing your praises! I love that you spread informed bunny info and are clear when something is your preference. And this video came with perfect timing. I just had both of my Buns fixed and due to hormonal changing and stress they are molting heavy. I sat with them for almost three hours and filled a grocery bad full of fur that could have been a blockage. Then then got their favorite chewies *willow sticks rubbed with apple. My bunny Hazel will bite off my fingers if I try to this to him. I simply remove most of dead fur by petting him, I'm lucky his fur type allows me to do this. But I'll still risk my own health to brush him, during molting season. Life is hard with aggressive little buns :P

I agree. I rescued my bunny from a back yard breeder and he is still so frightened and aggressive. I do all his routine grooming and he just HATES me for it. Today I put my head down next to him (no hands) and he boxed me so badly I have a gash on my cheek that really bled. I use Rescue Remedy but that does not even calm him down. He is almost three, neutered and I have had him 2.5 years.

I think my bunny, Jasper, is a broken Polish, similar in size to Lennon but white with markings like an English Spot. He is going through his first Spring molt and OMG I can't believe how much fur comes off of him when I brush/pluck. And even though I'm careful, how it flies everywhere: in my nose, mouth, hair, etc. Thank you so much for this video. It's spot on.

My bunny hates being brushed in his tummy and back legs. He just won't let me touch him at all on those areas so I try to brush him when he's eating smoothly and slowly so he won't notice it. Thank you sooo much for this video! I bought the hairbuster and my wallet was crying a bit after $20 on amazon. However, once I got the product I was amazed! It took out hair so efficiently compared to using my fingers, which I was doing because my rabbit hated my old silicone cat brush (he ate it...). My rabbit still hates getting brushed but I used the trick of putting him on a table and it worked since he stopped running around :) I was sure to only brush him for a couple of minutes and gave him treats afterwards!

My Theo is going through his summer moult so I’m re-watching this video for a refresh. I have a super soft brush so find that going backwards through his fur is the easiest method to get the most out. He hates me going near his feet or tail though so I find that easier to do with just my hand. I do hate grooming his face though as he’s a white bun with grey features and I find his face changes so much from one moult to the next because of the colour changes!

i do not a have a furry breed of rabbit i just have a dutch named hermione and a claimed to be american with possible harlequin named rosie but shes just a regular short haired rabbbit not a lionhead looking harlequin but we just adopted rosie from a humane society and i dont think she was groomed much or she was in molt but we had to groom her almost daily for 3 to 2 days and weirdly enough she loved and was more energetic after i know this may sound weird but i think she kinda was hideing behind her fur and when i groomed her she was a whole new energetic more brave rabbit thankyou for extra advice
