Leo, Good Video.... I agree with your explanation regarding parallel battery example "A", defiantly not the way to go. That first battery will be hit the hardest and will probably be the first to reach the EOL. I disagree with you on battery examples "B" and "C". Example "B" would be the choice for the best functioning parallel battery system. In this design you are forcing all batteries to consistently draw the same amount from each battery as the output terminations are on the first and fifth batteries, so each battery needs to perform. This is the same design that the "Flooded Battery" manufactures suggest to individuals that purchase multiple batteries use. The key point is that the 2 cables that connect the batteries to the LOAD are of equal length. The problem with example "C" is that even though they are all tied together at a common point the internal characteristics (SOC, internal resistance, BMS...) of each battery will not be equal across the batteries thereby causing some batteries to carry more of the load. If you want you can send me 5 of your Bonjour solar batteries and I will be more than happy to run them through different connection testing and isolating the performance of each battery through their "Charging" and "Discharging" cycles. It would make for an excellent KZbin video(s) that I would do. Have a GREAT day!

Thank you for your attention and praise. Method B and Method C are widely used in actual installation. Our experience is that if there are only 2 to 4 batteries, Method B is a good choice, but when the number of batteries reaches 5 or more, we think adding a Busbar can better ensure that the length of the wire from the charging end to each battery is consistent, so that the internal resistance of the wire is consistent. And the distribution of the line is clearer, and it is easier to check the problem later. Thank you again for your attention to BONJOUR SOLAR, and wish you a good day

@@bonjoursolar I can see where as the number of batteries increases method "B" may have some issues. I have only setup a system with 4 flooded batteries. Always learning. Thanks
