How to Properly Cook White Rice

📋 Ingredients:
- 350g Long Grain White Basmati Rice
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp Oil
👩‍🍳 Instructions:
1. Preparation:
- Start by rinsing the Basmati Rice thoroughly in water and drain.
- Repeat the process: add water, wash, and drain again.
- Finally, add water one more time and let the rice soak for at least 30 minutes. This helps achieve the perfect texture and flavour.
2. Cooking:
- In a deep pan, add 400ml of water.
- Mix in 1 Tsp of Salt and 2 Tbsp of Oil into the water.
- Gently stir the mixture until the salt is dissolved.
3. Cooking the Rice:
- Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, add the soaked Basmati Rice to the pan.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover with a tight-fitting lid, and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
4. Fluff and Serve:
- Once cooked, fluff the rice with a fork to separate the grains.
- Serve this perfect Basmati Rice alongside your favourite dishes. Enjoy the aromatic and fluffy goodness!
