How often do you air dry your hair and what style do you do after air drying? I know you normally do the ponytail rollerset and sit under a dryer which I love that method.

N. A. So now i like to alternate one week air drying and the other week doing the roller set! And when my hair is completely dry i just put it in a high top knot to sleep and get the wavy look that i like! Or i also like to do braidouts with it 😁

Sarah Arthur-Fynn i dont use an actual moisturizer, the only thing i use for my hair while air drying is a spray leave in conditioner! I dont add nothing else for the rest of the week

I'm scared to use that conditioner because my hair hates coconut oil :/ Also, how do you keep your hair moisturised during winter? I live in the Caribbean but I work in central AC and my hair refusesssss to hold on to moisture, no matter how much product I use. It's like all the water from the products evaporate x.x Anyway I figured it's similar to winter conditions (low temp, low humidity) and you live in Canada which has a reputation for being cold. So how do you manage?

Ouch 😖 yes it’s essential to properly detangle because adding water and washing your hair 😱 it will prevent matting and breakage

Hello I like to use a moisturizing hair treatment but you can use a protein one! Also try to limit the use of direct heat on your hair!

You can try washing in sections! Also don’t just rub your hair all together. Lift your hair and scrub the scalp only

gemruby41 i kept it for one hour and only used my body heat! Thats why i put a big plastic cap and big towel on it to keep the heat in 😁

For natural and relaxed hair, the hair is weakest when wet and that is science. Detangling hair when wet can cause mechanical damage if done wrong.

Peggypeg _ I completely detangle before my wash. Then wash and deep conditioning with using a comb. I may use my fingers to keep the hair from tangling by running them through the hair whilst rinsing products. Usually works very well. Then I use a leave in conditioner before I air drug, detangle easy with that and I’m done!

Peggypeg _ relaxed hair snaps and break when wet so I avoid combs during the washing process. Only detangle before and after. Only finger detangle if you have knots.
