In this video I'll show you everything needed to flat tow a 5th gen 4Runner that is compatible with the Roadmaster 1185-1 baseplate kit. This baseplate doesn't support some models like the limited/nightshade editions but should otherwise work fine on anything including the TRD Pro, Off-Road and SR5 models. The most important thing is that you need a driveshaft disconnect or you'd need to disconnect the drive shaft from the rear differential and then reconnect it. Below are all the parts I bought to do this, including the supplemental braking system we chose. The video will explain how everything works, why this is safe and how to handle the steering unlock with a keyless push button start as well. Enjoy and comment if you have any questions!
