That's the way to do it. I just refilled one yesterday and just used the lines. Be careful they can wash off pretty easy if you spill on the outside of the bottle.

Just a heads up, boost juice is measured by volume, not weight. As stated by a sno performance employee when I asked them.

Thanks for making the video, one question though, if you wanted to mix meth direct with your gas in your tank, what would the ration be? ( of course no distilled water lol ) how much meth per 1 gall of gas or How much meth per a 20 gallon tank? Thank you

It will affect something if I do the samething with the food coloring to my M1 methanol. I’m running full methanol (M1) I want to see the level of the methanol.

id like to hear the reasoning behind doing weight instead of volume.... even alcohol % on beverages are done by volume and not weight

When you run out of meth does the jb4 tell you? Example. If ur driving and all of sudden u run out of meth would you have to stop and switch maps to a unmeth tune?

No it doesn't tell you. I have never run out though, I make sure that I check it every time I fill up (once I get home).

I believe there is an alert or an indicator on the methanol gauge. Also, if you get stage 3 snow performance methanol kit, there is a flow sensor and if you run out of meth , it output a signal to ECU to switch maps .. that's on ECUTEK .. NOT sure about jb4 though .

no, but if you have a jb4 and it runs out, it automatically kicks you down to map0 i think.

The lines that Burger provided with their kit stained with food coloring so they always look red.😅. Still helps with seeing the level in the tank though.

No, even the Boost Juice comes with coloring in it.

great video! I have discovered a cheaper way is by using a product labeled as "methyl-hydrate" from homedepot its 99.9% Methnol!!! Mix with distilled water by weight!!! 50/50 mix or whatever ratio you want!

128oz/gal. 50/50 mix = 71.5oz methanol & 56.5oz Distilled Water BY WEIGHT !

128 fluid oz are in a gallon its not by weight..... a gallon of water takes up the same volume as a gallon of 99.5% alcohol
