Brandon, I have pretty flexible shoulder joints and I've always pulled behind my neck when doing Lat pull-downs. I understand the association you're making between this exercise and the bench press, but do you think it could also be beneficial to those of us that pull behind the neck?

While you might be able to pull behind the neck, I am not in favor of this movement pattern for any populations. There is nothing beneficial or advantageous from this movement vs a standard lat pulldown - where the latter is actually a safer alternative long term.
