You really want to use Moroccan oil it is a fiber filling oil for mending damage. If your hair air dries frizzy you will need to apply conditioner to wet hair before you shampoo. Less friction while shampooing is important. Coconut oil can damage hair if it’s used too often. It adds a protein and overly adding protein to your hair can create the hair to be full, greasy and look worse:

Girl, thank you for recommending this oil. I’ve used the argan oil in the same line and didn’t like it but this coconut miracle oil is miracle indeed. My dry brittle ends are nourished the second I put them in. I use this oil towards the end to give my hair TLC after using the Pureology leave in conditioner and heat protectant before blow drying. My hair looks and feel so much better. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars buying the expensive morroconoil argan treatment oil and that really didn’t do nothing for my fine curly hair. Loving this. Keep these videos coming. I’ve bought 3 more bottles at Target and also got a 5 dollars gift card when you buy 4 items in the same line. Win win 😉

@@smiledance4933 Personally I find that if you leave coconut oil in your hair when you apply moisturiser on top it doesn’t sink in as the oil has created a barrier. So your hair has slip but feels dry. However if you want to leave coconut oil in your hair, moisturise your hair first then apply the coconut oil on top (only a bit as it will thin and spread with the heat off your head, which may start running down your neck as the day goes on). I would focus the coconut oil on the ends of the hair and apply sparingly near the top/ roots of the hair. Alternatively you can apply other oils that are more moisturising like hemp oil, avocado, olive oil etc Hope that helps 😊

I bought this because of your recommendation and it is absolutely amazing, I have been trying so many different expensive products after bleach ruined my hair and overnight I could tell the difference when I used this product. I finally have some faith that my hair will start to grow because the frizz becomes less and less each time I use it, it’s got it’s shine back, and it’s more even in the way it absorbs hydration and products (before using it I would wash my hair and the hairs closest to the scalp and ends would dry almost instantly and be frizzy and or dry, and then the middle section of my hair would take forever to dry like it is the only healthy part of my hair).

The best thing you can do to protect your hair from chemical treated water like pool water is to get it wet before hand so that the water your hair does absorb does not have chemicals in it. I would be curious if putting oil on your hair after helps but if you go into the pool water, the dry hair, especially damaged hair is porous and your hair acrually absorbs water that contains those chemicals so you want to fill in the porous areas of the sponge with non-chemical water before hand but I bet like if you get your hair wet and then put the oil on over it that might be more protection. There’s a bunch of like dermatology journals that have articles where you can read more about this.

No, I have IBS and other health conditions, and I didn't do anything different food wise. I used a prescription cream for a while, then discovered a red reducing cream by avene that worked just as well, so I used that for a couple of years. Then I started layering aloe Vera over the top, then when it was not so bad I used aloe Vera alone. I kept using it for a year or so after the rosacea was gone as it seemed to pop up again if I stopped too soon. Apparently sun protection is really important. I didn't know that so didn't wear sunscreen (this was before KZbin hahaha and Google wasn't what it is today). Obviously none of this is medical advice, it's just what worked for me. Also don't use steroid creams. My GP told me they make it worse. Good luck!!

I followed few of you advice and this is the only one that actually made sense in my head but unfortunately didn’t work for me. It’s the only thing that changed from my routine and after weeks, I had more hair falling and tangles.

I Just bought that penetrating coco oil and it has a pretty strong smell. Also, it looks like a big bottle, but it’s about 4” high

With low porosity hair, thick oils don't like our hair as the previous comment said use Argan oils, and I also have low porosity and I'm using the OGX argan of Moroccan oil and my hair loves it.

What exactly is this supposed to do for your hair? And if you already have product in your hair like mousses and hairspray, does this do what it is supposed to do? I’m hoping to get an answer.

Yes great question 🙋🏻‍♀️! Putting the hair oil just before washing, also feels to me that how are you supposed te get the hair spray, leave in conditioner and old oils from tour hair, if it has oil over it?

My hair breaks so easily, so it seems that for me, I’d have to really wash it more than usual to get the oil out, thus breaking my hair more. So confusing.

Is that a boar bristle brush you use? I've read it helps to distribute oils ( natural or coconut).

All these hair care tips are overwhelming. It’s like a whiplash every week between these trends. First only use oil only on scalp and not too long, now just put oil in the whole hair. Ever single thing is made so complicated and it truly feels like a consumer trap

This is not a new thing. It's been around for a long time. Coconut Oil and other oils/butter with *Lauric acid* are the only known oils to penetrate the hair. What it does is slow the rate with which water absorbs into the hair during washing thereby chipping away the keratin that mostly makes up our hair and making it vulnerable. *It's tried, tested and true* As regards the scalp, you can still use coconut oil but it will be better to add an essential oil e.g rosemary and peppermint to stimulate blood circulation on the scalp and penetration which helps most especially, for people with dry scalp and Afro hair that is often in need of emollient to help remove dryness from their hair.

Hey! Do you have any tips for my hair, I am a preteen and don't have access to fancy oils, tools, and hair products. I only have my leave in conditioner and a shampoo/conditioner combo. I take hot showers because I HATE being cold. And my hair type is very straight with a slight wave, basically average white girls hair. Any tips on how to keep my hair heathy that I can actually get? (I don't have an allowance and I can't just go shopping.)

Coconut oil does not work well with my hair. It actually makes my hair dry 🤷🏻‍♀️. I switched to argan oil instead and it works so much better. I put it in my hair the night before I wash it. Has made a big difference.

A lot of good comments here. This is backwards. This can not hydrate ur hair do to ingredients. I personally think its best to stick with hydrating hair mask and then apply leave in conditioner/ oil to seal hydration. This method coats ur hair with cheapest silicone and prevents moisture getting into ur hair strands. The hair is soft after washing , but its not bcos of hydration. Its do to heavy silicone. All these products r used after shampoo and conditioner, to seal moisture and protect just like its says on the label on the section How to use:
