Love the video and great idea for the round knot. I did my cords using Type 1 paracord and the cobra knot. I will try doing the round knot next time. Fabulous idea.

Thanks Connie! Type 1 would definitely work better for this project when doing the cobra knot. 550 would seem too bulky when doing the cobra. I've found that this round braid is much less bulky than the cobra knot.

I've found the previous tutorial with cobra knots works good, but one little adjustment, start near the very top of the connector casing to add some rigidity to this.

I tried it for my macbook air charger and i have finished like 50% of the length of the cord. But i dropped it and now i can't find which cord to do and also im trying it with paracord of same color. Please help me!!! I have been at this fir hours and i can't find out how which way to turn the cord so i can do the round braid again!!

Instead of a manrope knot, I would use a footrope knot that comes back through to the plaited side. That will make it easier to finish the ends.

It wouldn't be the same braid if you did 3 cords and the whole cord probably wouldn't get covered.

You should of gutted the cords and used the same weaving method that are used to make Bull whips. Under 1(2, 3, 4, & etc) Over 1(2, 3, 4, & etc).
