1 inch of finished (braid/knot) = 1 foot of paracord. this is an appx. used to make bracelets...i hope it helps.

I have used this on all my cables and it has lasted for years. I have a cat that pulls and bites charger cables and it has worked for at least 3 years. Just use a thinner cord and you’ll be fine.

What about the cobra knot it works REALLY well but it don't take up as much room if you tak the inner strands out

i try cobra knot on two of my cables, one with the inner strands and one without inner strands, i prefer the one w/o inner strands, make it more easy to use( or move around), the cable weave w/ inner strands is way more heavier than i thought.

there is no way a 3' cable needs 40' of paracord.... 13.2 is the wrong multiplier

Welp... foot in mouth, that is the correct multiplier... in fact I used a cool 14x and came out pretty good! thank you for the video. This one took quite a while because of the length of cord.
