I call that technique “Pad Leveling” Been doing it for years for all Ti & Si coatings on anything that’s not paint lol. I will say, I have accomplished it flawlessly on paint a few times on 2 cars, but that’s far and few between and hard to do. Has to be perfect conditions all around. Temp, humidity, porosity of paint, etc. Loves these videos as usual Larry!

You probably dont need to use a specific wheel cleaner to clean coated wheels if you do so regularly. Normal car soap should do the trick, or use Brute wheel soap for a little extra bite.

What is the expected shelf life of Gelee if stored in a climate controlled house? I really liked the performance of the product, but mine had completely separated after being stored in a cabinet in my house after like 9 months.

What would you use to remove it? I applied it by accident to motorcycle fairings after I ran out of the reflex pro enamel. If the paint doesn’t get damaged then I don’t mind. But if the paint would get damaged by leaving it on then please advise on how to remove easily without risking damage

When you say that it can be applied to an exhaust, what temperatures are we talking? If I've got a full system motorcycle racing exhaust, can I apply it to the full system, or should it be used only on the end/exhaust tip?

FWIW, I get about 12 to 15 sets of wheels out of a bottle of Gelee Pro (faces and barrels). So it’s about $7 or $8 per application, and each application lasts 1 to 2 years. The price may be high, but IIMO the value is as well.
