I like how straight to the point you were in this video. This really shouldn't be classified as a tutorial, more like a sample of the end results of doing this mod. Of course, I probably won't ever attempt this sort of modification on my 2010 Fit, but I was curious because I wanna run some wider wheels but have run into the problem of wider wheels having a lower offset, which will probably make the wheels stick out too far for my taste. But you did a good job on the 240! Hope you get around to putting some proper paint on it because we need to preserve those 90's JDM cars as long as possible. Thanks for sharing!

The third reason you'd want to pull or at least disconnect your coilovers is that the coilovers wont allow enough suspension droop while connected, to actually fit the roller under the fender lol.. The min size of the roller is about 2" taller than the hub to wheel arch distance on my FC with BC coils :D

Cheers heaps bro. Already got my roller on the way but was doubting it could do more then just the lip but it should be perfect by the looks of it!

I just got some pretty aggressive blitz 03s for my stock body Supra mk4. They poke out about 2 inches past the fender. I have coilovers and arms on the way. Once those come in I’m going to play with the suspension a bit and the chamber. Although it pains me, i may have to do this to my car. Thanks for the video!!

i’ve been on my civic si cambered due to fitment. fb6 with work ls207 10j +25 squared. rolled the front fenders and i’m running -2 up front so basically stock, but in the rear it’s -6 just to fit. doesn’t ride the best simply cause the rear and i’ve been doing it for years now about to suck it up and roll the hell out of my rear quarter to get it closer to the front. it’s fun for a bit but not worth it in the long run

Instead of taking off your coil over you can actually just use tape or draw a line in dry erase marker on the tool itself after getting the first fender where you want it...saves a lot of hassle on cars with a tricky trunk liner to remove and what not.

Could you elaborate please? That doesn’t make sense to me

They look too good when you finished. Nice job
@jacobandrade531 Жыл бұрын
You could also just take off the caliper no?? So the roller doesn’t hit

Can we measure from the coilovers?
@meetmario68572 жыл бұрын
You can as long as you leave the coilover bolted on the knuckle. Also make sure that if you have after market arms that both sides arms are adjusted to same length or your measurement could be off. That’s why I just go by the body of the chassis.

This is rolling not pulling
@RP-xb3vh2 жыл бұрын
Officially ruined it. Can’t go back. Rolling a tad is okay but pulling is a mistake. Looks like it’s wearing a skirt. Not JDM way of doing it. Suspension dialing along with proper wheel spec is the correct method.
@meetmario68572 жыл бұрын
I think everyone has a different style they go for… I personally like the pulled look vs overfenders. Plus I needed the space since my dual caliper set up pushed my hub out about 15mm.
@RP-xb3vh2 жыл бұрын
@@meetmario6857 over fenders are even a bigger mistake than pulling. Just ruins the stock Nissan body.. I’d rather be chewing tires than an irreplaceable body..

You mean you'd rather not beable to customize your car how you want it to be customized. The only thing that's not fixable on a 90s car is crushing it into a cube. Let the dude enjoy his car without you oem purists whinging at minor things.
