What Ive done when someone tries that is to jump, using what power I have in my calves, to land on their stomach and take mount Depending on where they put their feet Or snake my leg and step inbetween their legs and take mount (or at least half guard on top) Or sprawl and step around them and take side mount, pressing their stomach/chest away from me The point is, with quick thinking and flexibility, this simply hasnt worked against me

Thinking more about it For the guy on top, It takes a lot of balance and microadjusting, and sprawling wide while also trying to find advantage to get over or around the feet and over or around the hips the person who tried the sweep finds themselves trying to flip a 250 lbs pancake from their back Possible, especially if the pancake makes a mistake But Ive never lost this situation yet

@@kylieminou7775 I havnt trained in a while Maybe when my son goes to school Ill get back into it So yes, Im a giant turd But I have surprised people who have tried to pull me into them for a sweep only to hop and Duff Man thrust unto them, landing on top Try it If that doesnt work its a spwarl and balance game

It can but it's not ideal because you can't rotate your opponent's upper torso as much
