This is a game changer for me, I stopped making my own inserts out of frustration at punching the holes all over the place. I feel so stupid for never having thought to take the bottom off!!! I had just added a very expensive (for what it is) 6 hole punch to my amazon basket but just quickly checked here first so great tip thank you for saving me ££ and thanks for sharing, subscribed! x

Genius! Thank you so much for posting this, I was really struggling with my own papers for my new Filofax and was about to give up and order ready-made ones - you've saved me loads of money!

A normal paper hole punch, such as a 2 hole punch should be able to punch through 2 sheets at a time. YMMV depending your hole punch, but it would save time over doing it 1 sheet at a time. If you're like me and time poor, I'd be looking at weighing up the costs of a heavy duty paper punch, over a single page page.

This is smart and simple... great! I just got a new filofax, but never mind that, its just great to know that when I want to punch a hole in a specific place on a piece of paper I now can! I used to guess and it was never quite in the right place, but now is easy, thanks.

Tip for people who don’t have a divider to work with: I downloaded a PNG of a filofax sheet that had the “holes” greyed out, put it into Word on a landscape page and made sure to make the sheet the full half size of the A4, and printed it (make sure to set your printer settings to “original size” or the equivalent so it doesn’t shrink the image; this would mess up the spacing and sizing of the dots). Then I punched the holes into this “filofax” sheet and used it as a template for the rest as shown in the video. I put it into the back of the folder so I can use it as a reference in the future too. Hope I explained this well enough

Just a tip, I would possibly rename the title of this video, something along the lines of" How to punch 6 holes for your filofax paper with a two hole puncher", as I came across this video totally by fluke and it seems to be the only descent video out there. Just saying,..I think a lot of people would find this video useful :)

Thank you very much. I actually have a 6 hole puncher, but it doesn’t extend to desk size. I’ve made some terrible mistakes in trying to use it for desk size paper. Applying your method, it works perfectly and does 3 holes at once. I feel a bit stupid for not having thought of it myself.... but I ended up here by looking for a “desk size organiser 6 hole punch” to buy 🤓 I believe there is no such thing, but thanks to you, I DO NOT NEED ONE 😊😊😊 Splendid! Many thanks!
