I really wouldn't blame the CV for not actively hunting the Halland. Blundering into its AA is probably more painful than even Worcester and Minotaur. It seriously has some damn beastly AA values coupled with Def AA

Nope. Spend those planes and let your team blap halland or lose an entire flank. Carriers not going after halland is like BBs not holding a flank. Sure you'll lose some HP, but what's the point of saving HP only to lose the game?

Hello there... Been watching your videos lately and this would be my first comment on yours. 13:40 the reason for the carrier not engaging the Halland is simple - Halland has 2 cruisers worth of AA crammed into it, because DD players were constantly complaining about carriers. So what you have is a ship with 6.5km AA and an air detection range of 3 or 2.5km. They will just wait for you to get close to them and then unleash full sector priority AA on your planes, wiping them out in mere seconds. You cant even leave a fighter squadron to keep him scouted , as those go up in smoke just as fast or even faster since they cant dodge flak. Its best to ask your own DDs to get the location of enemy Hallands instead of the CV. In case there is no DD left on your team, be ready to shoot the Halland when asking the carrier to spot it. I've lost entire squadrons of planes trying to keep a Halland scouted only for the team to be shooting at something else. As a player with 2 t10 carriers and 60ish % win rate on my CV matches, I can say there is no bigger mood killer than a Halland in the enemy team. Keep up the good work with the vids. Take care :)

@@arcano1973 Being a super unicum player does not mean you have nothing to learn or unable to gain new perspectives. Even if he knew everything that I said in that comment (and im pretty sure he might), it can be helpful for the rest of his viewers to see and understand when they are in a match and spamming their CV to kill a Halland , why its not happening.

If you playing CV in the match just ignore it focus on the other side of a team . Halland AA is too strong even without def and prioritizing .

@@ammaster69-88 Well..you cannot just ignore it forever, especially if it creates major issues for your team on that flank. Sooner or later, if your own DDs dont spot it, it will fall on you to deal with it. Make sure you got your engine booster ready and pray to RNJesus that your rockets will hit him. You do your job, even if its painful or annoying. Sometimes it helps to let your team know that you will scout for him... Not all will fire but even if a cruiser shells him a bit , it can be one or two less runs you need to make to get him.

Petro hull is so low in the water, that's why your shell always get overpen even when that ship show full broadside

One thing I notice when playing as GK the more you being shoot more likely you win the game, it is common to get like 3 million potential damage when playing it.

Thank you for video I kinda wrote off Battleships because they got 40sec reload and just get out matched every single time I play, I get to fire maybe once and I always miss it seems or if it hits it does 200dmg I'm still pretty new going on 2nd week of this game

60 mm deck shatters HE shells from those battle cruisers, Stalingrads, Yoshino etc. (they are pretty prevalent TBO). Also GK's super structure can eat full pens from battleship APs. It's weird that you take full pen APs when you are angled and people can't overmatch you : ( .

i'm confused here, halland has insane AA capabilities whilst german carrier have fast , but really squishy planes. Is there a proper manner to try and deal with halland with them ? of course , when say deal, i mean without losing basically all my planes :| even dodging the halland flaks, the ship deal quite a substantial ammount of damage to the squishy squishy flying bois . any suggestions ?

Good stuff ty. I too have played since release switching over from WOT. For me the Russian unicorn bullshit has wasted this game. I really enjoy as much historical accuracy as possible and appreciate the well rendered ships. Wtf wows started throwing down these russian superships when the reality is that they got their asses handed to them every time they tried to fight. For me that just dumps a big corn fed steamer right in the middle of the game. I play rarely now because of it.

the CV can send planes to spot the halland at that time, and do 1-2k damage for 5-6 planes, and maybe a single BB gets to shoot 1 salvo and maaaybe get like 1 hit for 1k or so? Given that the dd player is at almost full hp that play has little impact. Doesn't seem worth at that point in the game when many ships are charging in, and you can do more damage and slow down the push more. Dislike for just the classist hate.

The reason the CV didn't cover the halland is that CV players are wimps. They play CV because they are totally and absolutely BS right now, the Halland has good AA, and CVs are afraid of any sort of a challenge at all.

Im betting you are the first player that acuses CV of "doing nothing" when you ignore spotted DD all the time until they have no more planes. Also Halland has stupidly absurd AA so you can also acuse me of "not going after Minotaur/Any AA cruiser"

@@Dukenukem Asside from the Halland, if a CV has a DD spotted the CV can insta kill that DD, no need for help. No more planes is laughable. I've seen FDRs go 100% at halland the entire war and still have tons of planes at the end. Admit you are afraid of any challenge, thats why you play BS CV. Or would you still play it as much if they nerfed it 1000000x so that it would be even in power with everything else? Didn't think so.

@@stevepeterson6070 Angry BB player? Any other DD is fine, the Europe line is just insane for AA and low spotrange. Maybe dont get Premium CV as example of OP, they are made to be OP.

@@Dukenukem The fact that premium's are OP is another glaring problem with this game. Pay-2-win games really should never be played by anyone. But CV players will always play the best CV they can get, even if the worst CV in the game would still be total BS. I play all ship types, but CVs are just too easy so boring to anyone who actually wants a challenge. Not sure how CV players get a thrill from the chance that enemies may slowly wear down your number of planes after you have killed 3 enemy DDs, a cruiser and a BB, wow now I actually have to wait another 20 seconds for my planes to magically re-appear, what a thrill. A ship class that survives to the end of the war 10x more than any other type. Yup, that gets the adrenaline pumping. They just need to balance the types.

​@@stevepeterson6070 20s for a plane? which CV is that? I wait 60s for a single one. if a lose whole squad of 9 for a single DD I wait 6 full minutes to have it back. Also how much you survide is up to your team mostly, if you get the support and dont make mistakes you can survive in any ship. if your team abandons you then you are dead in any ship (even CV, the handy islands are not on every map). and balance types like how? in what game is BB vs DD balanced???
