This is one way to put an 80cc motor onto a bmx bike. You probably don’t wanna cut the frame though 😎😑

Surprised to find that this is your first build. Looks even better in person! Watched Boiling Point like you recommended as well. The fact that it was shot mise en scene was spectacular and the ending really got me.

The gas can would go good on the handlebars but it would have to be custom built to set in the middle without interfering with ur turning.

The way I solved the gas tank situation for my BMX bike build is I bought one of those shelves that you attached to the bike seat post and put the gas tank on that with an extra piece of tubing from the cut around the seat post under were you screw on the shelf so it wouldn't rattle down and rub the rear tire👍

You should have made a custom plate or a modified mount on the motor rather than cut the frame!! Its weakened it to a dangerous point! You should watch a channel called "rather be welding" he builds bike's and carts among many other things related to cars and bikes.. you will learn a lot there 😊 especially how to make a motor fit a small frame bike. The end product does look good but o wouldn't ride it if you are heavier than 60kg it will 100% bend in the middle..
@MattafiedCooking
@MattafiedCooking 10 ай бұрын
Thank you for the comment. The frame is a strong frame. The motor helps strengthen the frame and also, I don’t ride it hard. Very conscious about the Integrity of the frame and never do wheelies or race it. It’s my everyday bike. And ride it 6 miles everyday.

@@MattafiedCooking like I suggested go watch a channel called " rather be welding " you will learn exactly what to do to fit the motor and add support for the frame.. he specialises in mostly bikes and motor bikes and home made carts sand buggys and 4x4 rock crawlers all hand made from the tires up to the roof

@MattafiedCooking
@MattafiedCooking Жыл бұрын
I didn’t cut it in half, just the top bar. The motor mounts help stabilize the bike. Also, this bike is just a flat land rider with no jumps, bumps, off road riding or up hill riding. Furthermore, it’s a solid frame build in the 90s that is more stronger than cheaper frames made now a days. Any more insight? Im building a few more bikes and am going to post more videos and would like your input on what you would like to see.
