This has to be the only video on the internet that actually tells you how to do this 👌🏾

Thanks for the help; I figured I needed to pry off the cap, but needed a 'go-ahead' on the force needed.

Big help. Thanks. I now feel confident in my choice to go translucent on my buttons with my artwork. You rock.

Don't use force to pop out the button. Push one side down first and then the other side.

Great to know when supply returns. I don't know what happened between the posting of this video and now but everywhere, Sanwa clear buttons or even clear tops are sold out. You can't find them anywhere.
@DimzNoms3 жыл бұрын
Lolz they are the one of the most sought after clear buttons for the art purposes and such. They do return to stock once a month or so and they are plentiful for like 3-4 days.

i want to do this with my buttons but i use clear sanwas and ive heard that if you take them out after putting them in they break because the clear plastic is brittle, what should i do?

Thanks for this video. Do you have a template for the obsc 30mm buttons? I want to print out labels or the buttons.
@DimzNoms4 ай бұрын
I don't have the exact template, but if you download any fightstick template that uses 30mm buttons, you can just consolidate that section for your printing needs.

It sucks because I bought Blue, Red, Green, and Yellow. But the issue is, Black, White and PURPLE are all sold out. Trying to Construct a materia layout.

How did you cut the art round so clean? Is there a tool for that?
@DimzNoms3 жыл бұрын
I had ordered the fightstick art from focusattack.com. If you use their .psd template for your fighstick (if it's available) they will cut out the circular button holes out perfectly for you. Other than that I don't know how/what tool someone would use to make such perfect cuts.

Does all obsc has white color on the plunger? Might want to replace my button with this
@DimzNoms2 жыл бұрын
If you're talking about the white little disc inside then yes all CLEAR plungers has the white disc behind it supposedly for art to be place in it. There are CLEAR Plungers that comes in different colors, putting your art behind a CLEAR plunger of a different color will essentially tint your art with said color. This link to arcadeshock: arcadeshock.com/collections/pushbuttons?page=1 has alot of different buttons with combinations of CLEAR plungers and bodies. If the listing just says CLEAR that means both Plunger and Body is clear, but if it makes a distinction then you want to make sure it says CLEAR Plunger so that you can put art behind it. You can NOT put art behind a SOLID Plunger.

Is it possible to just replace the plunger on solid color buttons with a translucent one?
@DimzNoms2 жыл бұрын
Yes it is! Some websites like Arcadeshock does sell plungers separately, but other than that you would most likely have to just buy two different buttons then swap them. It's best best to make sure that they are the same button brand/model so there won't be any complications on making them fit during the swap. (Though it is ""possible"" to make a swap with two completely different buttons. You just might need to do a little extra work).

Did you ever happen to have an issue where the art inside of the buttons would spin inside?
@DimzNoms2 жыл бұрын
Personally not much. If there's abit of wiggle room I can imagine it would spin abit when jostled, but to like loosely spin then no I haven't had that issue.
@picantepollo62382 жыл бұрын
I just put some art under some clear Sanwa button cap lids for the first time ever, I noticed the lid is actually on a bit more tighter with the thick art printout Focus Attack provides, can't imagine the button cap art jostling around much, and even if it does I don't think to a point where it will be super misaligned.
