Often one time can be enough to really help with the pain and loss of mobility. But IF the vertebral segment involved is particularly stiff or inflamed you may need to do this technique multiple times a day for a few days for complete recovery. There is no risk to repeatedly doing the technique as long as you are not being too aggressive. Really appreciate the feedback! Thank you!!!

Good! Keep working at it. (It can take a few times over a day or two for full resolution.) Be sure to check out my other video on neck pain that demonstrates different techniques: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXWVl4KXg5eMetE. Also, I have a more in-depth post on my website about it: www.thephysicaltherapyadvisor.com/2020/10/14/what-to-do-when-you-cant-look-up/.

Bro I’ve been in pain since I cracked my neck this morning and I couldn’t it to the left at all without it knotting up and being very painful this relieved the pain so much it’s still there a little bit but I appreciate this a lot

Glad it helped! I typically advise continuing to do the technique until a person is pain free and/or has full neck range of motion. Take care!

I just stretched and popped my neck and it was a huge crunch now I can’t move my head to the left, wtf do I do I’m scared
@ThePhysicalTherapyAdvisor4 жыл бұрын
Hi Ricky....That can definitely be scary. In nearly all cases though the pain can be very bad it is rarely a serious condition. Usually one of the facet joints pinched against the other one and potentially pinched and aggravated the tiny meniscus that is present between the two joints. Because the area will swell quickly one usually will have at least several days of soreness/pain, with loss of motion. The goals should be to gently restore range of motion as you can. Oftentimes it can be helpful to utilize over the counter anti-inflammatory medication if that is something your doctor has approved you taking. Don't be aggressive with the stretching or restoring motion, slow and steady is better. All the best!

This is already my 2nd day with the neck pain i thought it was due to lack of sleep.. i end up sleeping the whole day but the pain is still there. Are you completely healed in 2 days? Or it just got better, but theres still lingering pain? Im kinda scared
