Thank you for this video. I was able to do the replacement myself. it was a challenge, but saved me $350 quote to do it by dealer.

I've been dreading this day. Like you I've watched dozens of video's / tutorials and yours seems to be the least difficult. I tried the F42 fuse removal and negative terminal disconnect and it did not work for me either. I have no idea why. I'll be doing your method today or tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.

@@scottbeauregard3745 I was on the same boat, even tempted to let the dealer do it for me until I decided to pull the trigger. You'll feel pretty good after pulling that off. I'm glad my video was able to convince you into taking action. Thanks for your comment, and please keep us posted if you don't mind.

@@NiceCars4u I changed it out last night! I've seen so many videos of people taking off fenders, the entire wheel well liner, wheel..etc. Your process was so easy. Turned the wheel all the way to the left, popped a few of the plastic rivets, removed one bolt, pulled back the liner and bam, there the auxilliary battery was! It took about 45 mins total to change out both batteries with a socket set and a flashlight. Thank you...

I can see it coming one day, thank-you for this. Question: what make or brand are the fender flares you have on there? I need them.
@NiceCars4uАй бұрын
@alancadieux2984 Fender flares are the original Mopar Set of 4. I produced a video on their install. Please check it out. Thanks

@NiceCars4u couldn't be mopar, they offer so few mods for rubicon fenders or mud flaps it is pathetic. Extreme recon mabey? What brand name?

If you removed the battery terminal from the battery and the fuse. It absolutely should have worked. If you removed the fuse first, then the cable running to aux battery. It gives you a quick reset to that alert.

@TheSupernaturalWolf41 i did, for some reasons i that didn't work for me as mentioned on the video. Thanks

Thats what I ended up doing, the auto stop start still functions the same and I get 4-6 years out of my main battery, as opposed to replacing a baby battery every 12-18 months.

I can see where you're coming from. But, I would say it's a 50/50. If you can work on itz it may not too bad after all.
