I'm so sorry, that fabric was from an old bundle we had in our stash, no idea where it came from! 🌷

Nice technique. But what do you do with the edges/borders ? Just trim them ? If so, wouldn't the edges get loose threads, especially after washing ?
@TulipSquare7 ай бұрын
This just shows how to do the technique. After that it depends on what you do with it. You can bind it into a potholder, placemat, table runner, etc, or use it in a pattern that calls for a quilted panel. If you’re joining some of these blocks together, we have a video showing one method of doing that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqWzeJmIp6yrask

I see this video is two years old so I hope you will see my question. Do you wash your fabric first? I do a lot of sewing and the only quilt I have made is a T shirt quilt. It took me several months because I wanted to do my best with it. 2025 is the year I make one or more quilts. I have watched lots of videos and this videos is the best I have seen. I have watched it several times. I have purchased all I need to make this quilt and plan to start this month. Thanks much.

I will reply and say that I have never ever washed my fabric - hope that helps :)
