Thank you so much Jady A. for these very helpful tips. I am a mom of 3 girls. My two older girls have been homeschooled since kindergarten. They're now in 2nd & 3rd grade. My husband and I do teach them about God, but I feel we can do better. We met in church when we were teenagers. We don't attend a church now. I've always known God and believed in him and that will never change. But I can say that I have drifted away a little and don't pray or read like I feel I should. My mom has always told me, "Pray! Pray! Prayer is a powerful thing. Read your Bible, read devotions." Those are things I want to do more of. It's actually crazy that you and your family say that scripture every night because my mom taught me that exact scripture when I was a kid and it has stuck with me and I still say it all the time. Again, thank you for the tips. A prayer box is a wonderful idea. I will also be purchasing some of the books you shared. I need to make God my #1 priority so I can teach my children about him and be an example for them. God bless!

Jady, please know just how much you have inspired me as a mother. Your videos are such a blessing to me, and in turn my family. I am a 30 year old Catholic stay at home mother of 5 children 6 and under, and sometimes I’m just completely overwhelmed, isolated and exhausted with motherhood. I have been extremely discouraged lately in my vocation as a mother. I want nothing more than to lead my children to Christ. Your videos refresh me and give me the words of wisdom and encouragement I need. I want to give you an earnest thank you. With everything going on in the world I went looking for homeschooling resources and as many great videos as there are out there I didn't connect or feel that gut confidence until I started watching your videos. As I've been navigating being a mom and reconnecting with my faith for my kids I felt that everytime I prayed for guidance your videos were among the things guiding me to exactly what I needed at that right moment. Mrs. Jady you are a humble leader. I am so thankful that I can tune in to your content every upload, even though I am no longer Protestant. As I followed along your advice here, I noted some parallels in my life. 1. We attend church now more than ever following the old calendar with all the fasts and feasts. Just in one week last month, we went 5 times. Every weekend, we are refreshed, repenting, praying, and having holy communion. 2. Everyday prayer is a rule or guide during the hours that highlight what Jesus did (bringing light into the world 6am, sending the Holy Spirit 9am, hanging on the life giving tree 12pm, etc.). Selected psalms are built into our prescribed prayers, and it becomes so natural to memorize something you repeat daily; you surprise yourself with how much you absorb in your heart. My favorite is psalm 50 (51) from St. David. It helps invoke repentance and humility, calling on the Lord's mercy. 3. As devotional, my husband reads through Scripture explaining the types or patterns intricately woven in the Gospel. Or we commemorate a few saints who are on the calendar. It's also nice to read a short homily from the early patriarchs. 4. I like the idea of a prayer box or family prayer board. We have an icon corner that visually reminds us of "the cloud of witnesses". A friend shared the way she intercedes; "Lord Jesus have mercy on me, my husband, my children, my grandchildren, my godmother, loved ones near and far, friends new and old, our country, the unborn, ..." 5. The Russian Orthodox Church produced such great films! The Island (on KZbin) is unlike anything I've ever watched, yet it highlights the fool for Christ figure we see throughout Scriptures with the prophets doing strange things, preaching repentance, etc. 6. My son is a toddler so our Bible stories are board books with pictures and religious vocabulary, short picture books (los monjes y las uvas is my favorite to read to him), and interactive binder pages with Christian icons. 7. At my old Antiochian church, Byzantine chants were invigorating! My spirit was so lifted up by those hymns and hearing Scripture brought to life in the different tones. I can listen Arcmandrite Seraphim doing ps. 51 in Aramaic all day (free on KZbin). With that, there are long hymns, like special prayers, asking God's servants to help us on our path to salvation. 8. My son is 2 and he kisses the cross and does prostrations. He mimicks us to the point that he reminds me I need to pray. He also handed me Christian books from our home library. They are perfectly in line with my recent questions and studies, which is so wonderous how he found them exactly when I needed them. God bless that boy. I love him so much. Oh how I appreciate this video! I haven’t taken my babies to church. I don’t know of a good church in my area. I have a 2 and soon 4 yr old. My 4 yr old has almost learned the Lord’s Prayer. It’s so hard to do it on my own. I wish to take them to church and fellowship, but I can’t seem to find a good church. I need help. And my help comes from the Lord. Thank you for this video. I’m literally crying right now because this was how I was raised, bd I’ve been doing everything I can do the same with my 4 year old and 2 year old. My 4 year old has been pushing me back with homeschool and gets so angry with her brother. I hav been realizing today when I was running I heard loud and clear God say “pause. Pause lessons until you get right first. Pray. And pray harder. Reflect me and rest in me. She will see. Focus on changing you before teaching her because that is teaching her.” Thank you for this. Wow. Lord,, what a blessing. I also have short tempers at times and yell and I’m guilty for not being perfect and feeling attacked spiritually about how I don’t think I have patience. But that’s an attack. Satan wants that and realized that today- man JADY A… wow I’m just so grateful because I just heard the Holy Spirit speak straight to me. Thank you 😊

I have been in 7 churches already looking For one that has a good kids program but unfortunately I have twins and one is in the spectrum and it’s very difficult to find a church in Texas that has a special need program . Thanks. Our children need God more than ever.I always teach my kids to pray God's will in their life. Also I looked for a church that didn't follow a Sunday school curriculum. Why? Kids are different now a days. They need to understand what pray is, why we don't lie, about gender , life issue, how handle situations in a Godly fashion. So much more they need than the regular stories of Noah, Daniel in lions dens ect.All good but some kids are not being taught biblical at home.
