I did this! This is beautiful! I missed my locks so bad. Looks so natural. And im glad its my hair. I tried this with some Brazilian hair once. It didnt look as natural. (Straight hair yt btw. I know i know. My hair makes me happy and not at the expense of anyone please leave me alone.) Works on all textures im pretty sure. Only thing is i have had to go back and crochet some of the thinner ones as my hair doeslock down but not as fast. But still very easy to do considering. Save your dreads! Dont let people make you feel weird for it. One day you can trim them off and have fresh locks.

They are permanent with this method. The only way to remove them would be to cut them or gently comb them out, starting from the ends and working your way up. There are other methods that aren’t permanent though.
@aishamckinney15395 жыл бұрын
Thanks Ladys for the answer. I 🖤 the look... just not ready for the commitment... I'll keep looking for something similar, a realistic loc but not permanent. Something that would last anywhere from 2-4 months with proper care. @teeday.. your work is Wonderful ❣️

Hey, my sister started my locks as 2 strand twists and after 3 years she thought I should split them. Now they’re thinning, do you think I should cut them? What are your suggestions? Thank you
@teeday64 жыл бұрын
shamar turner Hey, before cutting them, you could try braiding or twisting them back together. Overtime, they will loc together and form a thicker loc. Thinner locs are beautiful in the beginning, but overtime, they are more likely to thin and break off. You’re welcome.
@TheCertifiedSwagg4 жыл бұрын
teeday6 thank you so much for responding in such a timely manner, the locs aren’t bad at all the thinning just has extra spaces that look like won’t be able to grip he thinning locs. I definitely appreciate your insight though!
@teeday64 жыл бұрын
shamar turner No problem. I’m picturing what you’re describing and I don’t know if it’s the same thing, but I had a client who hair was very soft & fine towards the top. I cut a few locs off in the top just so that I could make smaller, neat parts then I re-attached them to make them stronger.
